I am bonded to you, soldered, braided, knotting tied. Our love has walked over fields, horses rushing behind. Stream flows under hobbit bridge nearby. Magical day, Gandalf could be heard, wishing sigh. Under willow of journey chapter, we smile with laughter. “I love you” was said while lady bugs landed. Oh, but didn’t matter. - Brandy O'Banion-Baudoin
2 Timothy 1:7
I started writing when I was a young, free-spirited girl. My travels and my loving home inspired my pen to move gracefully across the paper. My dad passed away over twelve years ago and my pen took flight, bringing memories back to life. Thus, I created a blog that includes poetry, “mini-memories”, marriage guidance, and devotions. I am now married to my soulmate and he inspires the love that reddens my words. My writing is filled with imagery and tender moments.
I received a Freelance Writing Certificate Diploma through Penn Foster Career School and a Poetry Certificate through St. Clair Community College located in Michigan.
My writing portfolio consists of staff and contributing writing for local magazines and a local newspaper. I'm also the author for Christian Assembly of Schriever's church blog. My work has entailed feature articles, memoirs, and columns. I'm also an aspiring author who has written a children's manuscript.
My dad was a monumental figure in my life. He always told me, “Go boldly!” My husband is my biggest supporter and softly reiterates, "Keep on keeping on." I’m walking boldly on a writer’s journey, bringing glory to God.
